A little over a week after starting our first major remodel and the demo is complete.

The First Thursday and Friday

The flooring was removed from the living room, foyer, and kitchen. The nice thing about the cardboard covering is that it's allowed me to start sketching out furniture plans.

The Following Tuesday

The kitchen is pretty barren. All that remains from the previous structure is the ceiling and lighting/fan that will all be replaced with can lights, pendant lights, and an extension of our Philips Hue implementation.

The living room is also pretty sparse. You really see the bones of what we're working with. You also see the absolute mess of electrical work the previous owners left us. I might be more excited for the electrical to be redone than nearly anything else. The wet bar is no more. We're not far from seeing the foundation of what the master closet extension will look like.

This is a pretty micro update. Framing Up Next Steps – Our First Major Remodel will start to show progress of what the space will eventually be. We're getting more and more excited by the day.
